Agence des Banques promotes, commercializes and processes the Société Générale offer related to Payment flows – Product and Banking services are dedicated to a clientele of resident banks and financial institutions (in France and Monaco).

We have been active on this business since 1980.

• Representation in French interbank clearing & settlement systems (CRI, ABE,TARGET, classical SIT and EIC, SIT for monetics ). Agence des Banques also participates in settlement process on Ancillary Systems ( RELIT, RGV, Clearnet). Société Générale group has a leadership position on the representation of banks on the French interbank clearing & settlement system. Agence des Banques represents :
  • 85 indirect participants at S.I.T. (mass payments), eg a higher than 40% market share
  • 36 banks through the Carte Bleue & Cartes Bancaires consortiums (card transactions), eg a 30% market share
  • 36 indirect participants on STEP2
  • 108 indirect participants on C.R.I.
