SIT/CORE and SEPA

Société Générale has chosen to dedicate an electronic transaction to execute the SIT procedures for its Indirect Participants (excluding monetics transactions).
We achieve a great level of flexibility, in line with the individual needs of our Indirect Participants.

Every Mass payment is taken in charge
  • Transfers
  • Direct debits
  • French means of payment
  • EIC transactions and their linked transactions
Our clients can choose the type of protocol they want for their transactions.
The different possibilities are :
  • Etebac 3 (SIT/CORE formats)
  • PeSIT hors SIT (SIT/CORE and SEPA formats)
  • Etebac 5 (SIT/CORE and SEPA formats)
  • FileAct (SIT/CORE and SEPA formats)
  • FTP (SIT/CORE and SEPA formats)

Two communication networks are currently available : Transpac and RNIS.
Société Générale Agence des Banques offers to sponsor you as an Indirect Participant of the SIT.

All our procedures have a high level of security, which is continuously improved.

SEPA : a reality since January 28th, 2008

SEPA (Euro Single Payment Area), the European market of payments in euro, was set up on January 28th, 2008 with the SCT (SEPA Credit Transfer).

SG GROUP directly contributes to the whole process as a member of EPC, SWIFT, ISO, and of the French SEPA Steering Committee and SEPA Migration Committee.

SOCIETE GENERALE has already launched important adaptation studies to this new environment, and has offered SEPA services since January 28th, 2008 with SCT and soon with the implementation of SDD (SEPA Direct Debit).

AGENCE DES BANQUES proposes a specific offer dedicated to banks and financial institutions.
