EURO CLEARING

REAL-TIME REPORTING VIA SWIFT

In addition to our current reporting, we will provide you with a real-time reporting giving you your position in euros and in local currency. Positions may also be consolidated. Therefore, you will have a clear, global view of all of your activities which will give you a better control of your cash flow and will simplify your treasury management. Société Générale can send you the following messages :

Intraday Statements
MT900s : real time notification of debits posted to your account as well as additional reference information including ERI information.
MT910s : real time notification of credit advices, which are sent as the transaction is processed, giving you an earlier notification of credits as well as additional reference information and ERI.
MT941 : intra-day balance and statements on a real-time basis including forecasted balances for the three following days.
MT942 : information detailing your intra-day debits and credits posted to your account (includes ERI).

Warning messages
Pre-formatted MT 999 : manage your intra-day balance limits with automatic messages alarming you of an unusual number of transactions or an unusual payment amount.

Reconciliation messages
Pre-formatted MT999 : at a given hour or upon request, we are able to automatically send you a MT999 detailing MT210s advised but not yet received.

Consolidation messages
Pre-formatted MT999 : receive your consolidated balances among your legacy and euro accounts on a real-time basis.

Account and Interest Statements
Daily MT950 / MT940 statements : these statements are sent via SWIFT each business day, usually before midnight (Paris time). Full transaction references are shown, making them compatible with computerized Nostro account reconciliation systems. Daily account statements are by mail or fax to non-SWIFT institutions.

Interest statements :

  • Interest statements are provided on a monthly basis.
  • Back-value items, if any, are detailed on these statements.
  • These statements are now available via WebClear.
WEBCLEAR

Société Générale has taken a leadership position in internet banking technology with WebClear, our user-friendly service which provides around-the-clock account access on a real-time basis. As soon as a transaction is posted to your account, the information is simultaneously entered into WebClear's database.

WebClear lets you see transactions posted to your account :

  • Examine the information contained in the actual payment messages,
  • Retrieve four different balance types,
  • View MT210's that have been (un)matched with effective entries,
  • Review your MT950s over the previous 5 days,
  • Send an e-mail to your dedicated account officer,
  • Download information to a database application and print it out for off- line use.

WebClear was especially designed for financial institutions and requires no special workstations, software, or communications equipment and is extremely user-friendly. All that is needed to use WebClear is a basic stand-alone computer with a modem, an Internet connection and version 4 (or above) of Internet Explorer(*). There are no additional hardware or software requirements. On receiving your completed subscription form Société Générale will send you your user Ids, passwords, and the web site address allowing you immediate access to your accounts.

ITS CLEAR (Inquiry Tracking system)

As part of Société Générale’s web-based applications, ITs Clear provides a complete online access to information regarding the clients' inquiries backed up with comprehensive statistics. The list of past or outstanding inquiries is available. The client may retrieve it for a period or according to selected criteria.
